School Council

2011-2012

The School Council is formed of representatives from each class in the school. The council meet regularly to discuss the ideas that other children from their class have had. Council members will vote on any ideas that they believe will have a positive impact on the school.

What have the School Council achieved this year?

So far this year, the school council have been working hard to decide what improvements could be made to the school playground. After receiving plenty of creative ideas from all classes, a short list was created and presented to Mr Tamburro. Mr Tamburro came along to a school council meeting to discuss what was feasable, and after much deliberating and discussing we are excited to announce the upcoming arrival of an outdoor classroom. This area will have a multitude of uses, including a space for children to sit and play board games during playtimes, an outdoor lunch area for one class a day during the warmer months, and of course, an outdoor area for learning.

The School Council can talk about anything and it is important for all the children in the school to have their say.
