Chaplaincy Service July 2019

Thank you to our Year 3 Chaplaincy Team who led a beautifully reflective service this lunchtime. We were thinking about the Precious Blood and children from Reception up to Year 3 then had a go at writing their own prayers whilst reflecting on the Bible story they had heard.

Fr. Jason’s Class Visit

Year 4 would like to thank Fr. Jason for joining them last week to share his knowledge on Chrism oil and the Holy Spirit. We also enjoyed the opportunity to ask Fr. Jason some thought provoking questions, such as, ‘Why do priests wear black?’ and ‘Why can’t women be priests?’

Salad Making!

New Teacher!

Chaplaincy Team’s December Prayer Service

Today our Year 3 and 4 Chaplaincy Team led a beautiful Prayer Service, focusing on this month’s prayer focus. We sang some Christmas carols together, listened to the story of the Annunciation, and then enjoyed doing a word search activity that the team had produced themselves.

Altar Server Training 20.11.18

We were delighted that Fr. Jason was able to join us after Mass today to help train our new group of Yr 4 Altar Servers. He’d very kindly made a helpful hand out for children to bring home to remind them of their key duties when they serve in Mass.
