We have had significantly higher demand for critical worker places during this National Lockdown and whilst endeavouring to accommodate all families needing this provision, we do also have to prioritise the safety of our whole school community including pupils, staff and parents in the face of rapidly rising cases and intense pressure on the NHS. The government guidance during this National Lockdown is clear: stay at home if possible and updated DfE guidance states that ‘parents and carers who are critical workers should keep children at home if they can.’  Can we please request that, if you are currently using a critical worker place but are able to keep your child safely at home, you let us know as soon as possible.
