What a wonderful week!
A huge well done to our year 3 children who made their First Holy Communion at the weekend. The Masses were such an uplifting and joyous celebration of your continuing Faith journeys. We are incredibly proud of you all.
We have been highlighting the importance of positive physical and mental health across the school this week through a wide range of fun, interactive activities and workshops. The children have been involved in Tai Chi, meditation, skipping and hockey workshops, fun fit, healthy eating challenges, mindfulness sessions and road safety workshops to name a few! Our whole school walk on Wednesday afternoon was a particular highlight for us and gave the children a real feeling of community spirit!
The British weather did not deter our dads and lads/lasses sessions on Thursday where our Early Years children had the opportunity to explore, enjoy and share all of the benefits of outdoor learning with their family members. The fantastic feedback really does serve to highlight the tremendous value of these opportunities. We look forward to our year 1 sessions taking place on Thursday 30th June.
Well done to all of our year 1 children who participated in their phonics screening checks this week – we are hugely proud of all of your hard work both inside and outside of school!
Enjoy your weekends
