As a fun and colourful end to this half term, we have decided to have a non-uniform day to support a wonderful cause close to our hearts here at Mount Carmel. Freddie Williams’ family (Freddie is in Class RN) are trying to raise as many funds as possible for Birmingham Children’s Hospital to thank them for the fantastic care they gave to Freddie when he was 3 months old and diagnosed with a heart condition that was life threatening. Fortunately, through the treatment and care he received he is now a happy, healthy and fit young boy who enjoys playing football and having fun at school with his friends. We are delighted to be able to support them in their efforts, and would kindly ask for a donation towards this in exchange for wearing bright, colourful clothing instead of school uniform on Friday, 24th May.
