Dear Parents/Carers,

Jesus is risen. Alleluia, Alleluia. Thanks be to God. Alleluia, Alleluia.

I hope that this newsletter continues to find you and your families safe and well.  Although it has been a very different Easter holiday, I do hope that you have been able to enjoy some family rest and relaxation as we celebrate the joy of the Resurrection.

We’ll start with a prayer together:

Christ Our Light!

Your light rises in our darkness and assures us that you are present with us
and that your powerful closeness to us transforms our fear into hope.

May we join with our Holy Father, Francis, in spreading a “contagion” of
hope “from heart to heart”.

Protect all your selfless servants who continue to serve the needs of the
most vulnerable by both hands and heart.

Give our elected leaders wisdom of heart in decision-making that the
common good of our human family may be achieved and the gift of each
person’s human dignity respected.

May the new Easter fire of love, energy and resilience burn within our
hearts so that we may give witness to the mystery of your resurrected life
among us and within us.

As I let you know in a previous newsletter, we are delighted that Dan and Emily from OneLife Music are preparing weekly ‘Worship and Song’ sessions for you to share as a family. Many of our children will be very familiar with Dan and Emily as they have visited us in school to deliver a number of retreat days and Dan worked with our school Chaplaincy Team to compose our new school hymn. Please do take the time to share in this wonderful weekly resource by following the link below:

Alongside the range of weekly learning resources provided by your child’s class teacher available on the curriculum pages on the class page section of the school website, the Government have provided additional information to support home learning at this time. I would like to remind you that the Government has now set up a national voucher scheme for families eligible for free school meals which will enable them to continue to access meals whilst they stay at home.

Please follow the link to see if you are eligible for free school meals:

Please continue to visit our school website and to contact the school office via if you have any queries or concerns and someone will get in touch with you.

The staff and I are missing you all very much. We hope that you can enjoy the sunshine over the weekend.

Please continue to follow the government advice to: Stay Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives.

Take care

Mrs Woods
